The Void Known as the Gas Tank (disclaimer: No Scientific Facts Presented)

Another day another few dollars sucked away into the void known as the gas tank. What is being done about it? Other than millions of dollars sucked out of our tax paying pockets and diverted towards military funding, so that we may take over the countries with the most oil reserves under their soil? Now we have brought the battle to our own land and started attacking the very land we call home and have set aside for the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge.

What is wrong here? We have other means of fueling our cars such as biodiesel but no one is taking the time to implement it into society so that at least those few treehuggers that have a big enough conscious to do something about the rash of humanity destroying this earth, can fuel their cars as they travel across the country to go to the next big festival of a thousand bands (I’m taking the train next time).

So gas prices keep on raising, people keep on driving bigger and less efficient vehicles, and governments keep sending people to war to fight out their economic battles. Forrest are leveled to make room for refineries, animals are driven out of their homes upsetting the balance of nature. The world becomes lopsided since the proportion of matter is being sucked dry to be burned in our gas tanks and horrible tragedies occur when abnormal earthquakes create weather strong enough to take out ten’s of thousands of the species earth is trying to shake off its back.

And then there is nothing left but a regretful species of humans watching a planet they called home fall apart in front of their faces as they try to leap off with vehicle burning the very substance that got them into this mess in the first place.

So Please take the time to do something for a change and boycott the oil companies that could still prevent this monstrosity if they drill somewhere else (fat chance but it is worth a shot) True Majority - Online activism at its best
